Exercise - Import Message definition

With this exercise, we start our journey into the eMagiz platform. This exercise will explain the business case used throughout all exercises linked to the Crash Course Platform Course. In the following exercises, we will guide you step by step through the platform so you can learn how to use it.

1. Prerequisites

Completed all previous exercises of the Crash course Platform
Completed all previous microlearnings of the Crash course Platform

2. Exercise

There are 2 parts to this assignment:

First, import the message definition file for the system CAPE. Download the file from this location. Ensure to save the file as XSD before importing.
Secondly, import the message definition file for the system TMS. Download the file from this location. Ensure to save the file as XSD before importing.

For this exercise we'll add an extra step to this exercise. We need to create the central data model to which all incoming message are mapped to. In the Crash Courses API Gateway, Messaging and Event Streaming you will more details about these models. For now, please press the Promote to CDM button on the system message section from the CAPE system. The net result is that the system message will be copied into the CDM and the mapping will be created for you.
